The MacLachlans work in Ethiopia presenting the gospel in one hand and a seed in the other. Their work is among farm families whose per capita cash income is around 100 dollars per year. Their agriculture project is designed to bring a better life through increasing the production on their farms of forest products, fruits and vegetables, and animal feed. Through this, they and their staff have a bridge into the lives of the farm families for input in all aspects of life, including the gospel. Mark and Debbie, having been in Ethiopia for fifteen years, are now also playng a new role in support and supervision of other missionaries around northern Ethiopia.
